BUMP (Birmingham Urban Mountain Pedalers) is dedicated to building, preserving, maintaining, and riding sustainable mountain biking trails in the Birmingham area. Through volunteer engagement, community partnerships, and environmental stewardship, we create and protect trail access while fostering a vibrant mountain biking community that welcomes riders of all skill levels. Our commitment to sustainable trail design, active maintenance, and responsible riding ensures these natural resources remain accessible for generations of cyclists to come.

At BUMP (Birmingham Urban Mountain Pedalers), our work is guided by four fundamental values:

Stewardship: We believe in being responsible custodians of the land and trails entrusted to us. Through sustainable trail design, regular maintenance, and environmental conservation practices, we protect natural resources while creating outstanding riding experiences. Our commitment to stewardship extends beyond the physical trails to encompass the broader outdoor recreation community and future generations of riders.

Partnerships: We recognize that successful trail networks are built on strong relationships. We actively cultivate and maintain partnerships with land managers, government agencies, private landowners, other user groups, and the broader cycling community.
