I want to:
  • Our Club meets on the first Wednesday of every month at 7:00 pm at the Hoover Library, unless otherwise posted on this web site. After the meeting all are welcome to join us for dinner and socializing.

We are an organization formed to promote education and conservation, to advocate and assist in trail development and maintenance, and to have fun and fellowship with all-terrain cyclists in Alabama and elsewhere -- AND OF COURSE RIDE!!!! BUMP is a member of the International Mountain Biking Association (IMBA) and USA Cycling Mountain Bike.

As a member of BUMP you will receive a 10% discount of regular priced parts and accessories from Cahaba Cycles, Birmingham Bicycle Company, Bob's Bikes and Bike Link.

We regularly sponsors monthly rides at Oak Mountain State Park, and other rides at trails with in a one hundred mile radius. We also take frequent weekend camping and riding expeditions. Trail work days to maintain our trail at Oak Mountain and Trussville Sports Park occur every month, usually the first weekend after a regular meeting. BUMP also promotes safe and responsible trail use, sponsors parties, cookouts and other fun activities off and on the trail. We are always looking for new places to ride and are working on gaining access to and/or building more trails in our area.

Membership dues are $20 per household. This fee will go toward materials and support for trail maintenance, bridge building, office expenses and occasional parties and club sponsored events. Your membership helps protect and support access to trails for mountain biking in Alabama. Memberships are good for one year and are renewed on a annual basis.

    So after all of that....
