1. Extend the Dead Dog trail to extend behind the tennis courts. (See plan). This trail section will be the most technical trail section in the Birmingham area
2. Extend the Big Mountain loop to connect to the extended Dead Dog trail with a simple road crossing just south of the North park gate. (See plan).
3. A simple trail blazing system to make it easier for users to find and follow the trail loop thru the park.
4. Signage improvements to better mark trailheads.
5. A detailed map of the trails posted on the web site and on Kiosks at the park.
