I'm exhausted but happy because the LAKE SINGLE TRACK TRAIL is nearly complete and open to all riders for their enjoyment. BUMP not only met its goal of building 2 miles of well constructed single-track in 2 days but roughed in 1.5 miles additional trail on the future multi-use trail as a temporary return trail and built two bridges. We had over 70 volunteers on Saturday and over 40 today. It was alot of hard work but well worth it. I'm proud of the everyone's willingness to sacrifice personal time on what was a nice weekend to create something that will be enjoyed by so many for years to come. It was something to behold to see how well organize and efficient the two days went. Congrates to all volunteers and BUMP for a job well done.
I would also like to thank Stacey, Lisa and Mary for organizing the event and making sure we were well fed.
